March Japan Trip!

Today is Saturday, 27 June, which means only 2 more days till school reopens (can you hear my heart shatter into a million pieces) ▰˘︹˘▰ Anyway, to lighten the mood, I’ll be sharing with you my trip to Japan 3 months ago!!

If you don’t already know, I really X1000 love Japan. It’s such a nice and lovely place to be in, with loads of delicious food and beautiful places to visit. Most of the people there are friendly and well-mannered too, which is a major plus point for me! 😉

it was pretty chilly when i went there, but overall i found it decent.

the first hotel we stayed it was right opposite Takashimaya and Tokyu Hands, how convenient was that?! (don’t have photos though 😦 )

will probably get froyo everywhere i go. after dinner at a Chinese restaurant, we stopped by pinkberry and i got a cup of froyo with wondeful toppings – dango, some matcha cookies, red bean paste, granola and kiwi!!! are you drooling?

full aware that this isn't the best picture, but it's FROYO.

at a train station we were at, they had quite a number of stores selling food that was convenient to bring and eat while on the train. we came across these baked kawaii donuts and obviously had to get them!!!

bought some back too, hehe.

among the countless sushi and bento sets we got in Japan, this unagi sushi roll was so so so so good. i mean, look at it. also, this udon we had at the foodcourt was so simple but so comforting.

it's literally glowing.

we also went to a farmers’ market at UN University if im not wrong. It was pretty crowded but there was such a variety of goods! I got a packet of banana granola and a jar of pear jam 🙂

sigh. take me back to Japan please. anytime.

sorry if that post was rather long! anyway, i just wanted to point out (again) that everything should be in moderation. like this trip for instance, i did not restrict myself from eating what i wanted, but also tried not to overindulge. the most important thing is to not be so hard on yourself and to always pick yourself up.

It’s currently Ramadan. Hopefully during this period I would do some self-reflection over this 6 months and see how I can improve myself and be a better person!

On the other hand, my best best (lame, annoying, busybody, jk) friend, Leeah, just created her own blog!!!! Check it out at: operationgluegun.wordpress.com

Thank you for reading!
