project acai πŸ’«

so i’ve already made 2 trips to project acai in 3 days, and am here to tell you what i think of it! i went to their outlet at Holland Village, which is behind Holland Shopping Centre. i went there at around 4pm and 1pm on each day respectively, and both times the place was not crowded.

Project Acai sells acai bowls as well as smoothies, prices ranging from $6.80 to $14 (if i’m not wrong).

the first time i went there, i was

1. really excited (because i havent had an acai bowl since my japan trip)

2. really shocked (by the prices ‘‘‘)

i decided to get what they call a ‘flower bowl’ – a blended acai base topped with granola, cacao nibs, shredded coconut, chia seeds, bee pollen, goji berries as well as fresh fruit like mango, blueberries, grapes as well as bananas. come to think about it, i guess it’s pretty affordable given the variety of ingredients used.

i got a ‘handy’ sized bowl, at a cost of $6.80.

it was such a pretty presentation ☺️ i felt that there was a good ratio of each ingredient, and i actually liked the granola quite a fair bit.

the amount was actually pretty good too, and i’d recommend new comers to give this a try!

on my second visit (yesterday), i went there with ruth and ning. i shared the ‘nuts for acai bowl’ – a blended acai base with granola, cacao nibs, chia seeds, banana and 2 nut butters of your choice.

i chose to get us peanut butter and cookie butter πŸ˜‰

this tasted really good, the balance of sweet from the acai and the savoury from the peanut butter was great 😌 and this was definitely a go-to treat in the hot weather!! the $9.30 was worth it πŸ˜‰

overall, i’m pretty happy with my experience at project acai. the service there is good and i loveΒ the feel of the place (: this is a yay πŸ‘ŒπŸ»πŸ˜Œ

hang in there, the weekend is nearing!
